Dilip Chatoth

A mechanical engineer by qualification, Dilip started his career with one of Asia’s largest wood processing factories, the Western India Plywoods, before finding his true calling in hospitality.

Nearly three and a half decades with luxury hotel company The Leela Palaces, Hotels, and Resorts, saw him at the spearhead of various teams; projects, pre-opening, & engineering operations, with this world renowned hospitality operator, including the Leela Kempinski Mumbai, the Leela Kempinski Goa, the Leela Kempinski Bengaluru, the Leela Kempinski Kovalam, and the Leela Palace Chennai.

Actively associated for the past several years with the Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating, & Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) and the International Institute of Fire Engineers, Dilip has consistently demonstrated a personal commitment towards sustainable engineering and building practices, culminating in the LEED Green Building Platinum Certification for the Leela Palace Chennai.
